One role, one letter
A strong Anschreiben answers why this workshop or plant, not why you love working in general. Name the company type and the work you want to do there.
Lead with trade evidence
Open with a relevant project or responsibility: fault-finding on industrial motors, installing distribution boards, or servicing a specific vehicle class. Save personality for a short closing line.
Keep length workable
Most trade hiring leads prefer one page. Long narratives about career philosophy get skimmed or skipped.
Match the job ad’s verbs
If the posting emphasises customer-facing service or night shifts, address those points directly. Ignoring them suggests you only sent a template.
Close with availability
State when you can start and how you prefer to be reached. Practical closings fit the trades better than dramatic slogans.
